Niko Schwarz's science and programming. In 1971, Gerald Weinberg published his (now classic) book, The Psychology of Computer Programming. A thought provoking book on how humans program, and how they interact with others. Unfortunately, geek psychology doesn't often lead to this kind of design process. Originally Released in 1971, follow ups added 1998. Lilly referred to this self-programming ability as metaprogramming, and reported on his research in his . Mostly a lot of questions to think about. Here I'll post I don't see how psychology and computer science go together just by viewing your presentation, but maybe I have to understand more of your research. I will buy into this congruence buzzword, if this is the same Gerald Weinberg who wrote Psychology of Computer Programming. Lilly's experiments showed that the brain could be treated as a programmable entity similar to a digital computer, but a computer which could program itself. That question calls forth all of computer science from low-level machine design, through compilers, operating systems, programming and interaction design, to psychology and organisation theory. So this is it; modern psychology, computer programming and neurophysiology meets ancient mysticism.
